Jiri Technical School, shortyly JTS was establishd in 1982 as a joint project of the government of Nepal and the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). At present the school is running under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). JTS is located at Jiri Municipality-5 Dolakha and 188 Km far to the north east of Kathmandu.
There are three different trades Construction (engineering), Health and Agriculture(Plant Science), Agriculture(Veterinary Science) under Technical SLC(TSLC) Likewise three years Diploma in Agriculture(Plant Science), Diploma in Agriculture(Animal Science), Diploma in Civil Engineering including special scholarship program.

Jiri Technical school has been providing relevant technical education and vocational training to dynamic individuals aspiring to build their career in technical field. Located in the heart of Dolakha district, it has provided opportunities for candidates of various districts of Nepal to pursue their career in technical sector. Since 1982 it has proved itself as a pioneer institute for technical education in Nepal. JTS offer young people the education they need today to equip them for tomorrow’s careers. It emphasizes the understanding and practical application of basic principles of the subject matter. In a world that rewards perseverance, resilience, initiative, problem-solving and cooperation, our students leave well prepared for tertiary education and employment.
